It’s our most in-depth, focused, hands-on Clydesdale program, spread across four, weekly sessions in a highly individualized setting. We are now taking participants for September!

BLAST FROM THE PAST: 18-HORSE DRAFT HITCH DAZZLES AT STAMPEDE
You don’t see this very often.
It’s an 18-horse hitch, combining a 6-horse hitch from each of three different draft breeds (Belgians, Percherons and, of course, Clydesdales).
It took place back in the mid 1970’s at the world famous Calgary Stampede. And yes, JFP Equine’s very own Jim Poole is driving with thousands of people cheering him on from the nearby grandstand.
You won’t see an 18-horse hitch at CHORE TIME or one of our meet n’ greets. But you will most likely see Jim and maybe hear more about a cool story like this (or one of the hundreds of others he has)!
ACE MAKING HIS WAY AROUND THE ST. LOUIS AREA

ACE has been a busy boy this summer, being a featured guest at many events around town ranging from county fairs to senior living centers to even the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, where he’s been a featured guest multiple times for various artists/tours coming through town. (The only issue was finding a backstage pass big enough!)
Fall is going to be even busier for ACE (or maybe even CAPTAIN or FRED) as we head to events like the famous Cedar Lake Cellars Pyromania and the Lebanon, IL Fall Festival. If you know of a private or public event that might want to feature one of our big guys, contact us below:
WHO’S IN THE BARN THIS WEEK?
We’ve got an all-star roster in the barn this week ready to meet you. Keep in mind our roster changes often as we get new guys in! See below:

ACE
ACE has become quite the celebrity around town, appearing at multiple events over the summer ranging from the Monroe County Fair to a backstage at several BIG concerts at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre.

CAPTAIN
Captain just has that look - the look of a prototypical Clydesdale with all the well-known markings and color. And we’ve quickly learned that he LOVES people and all the pets n’ scratches they bring with them!

FRED
Pictured closest to us with two of his JFP Equine buddies, FRED has become best buds with CAPTAIN … in fact, somewhat inseparable. He is the second biggest Clyde on site (next to ACE), and he has become quite the favorite because of his unique feature - one set of black eyelashes and one set of white!

FLOYD
Oh FLOYD, you are one good looking dude who can do it all (drive, ride and be awesome!). And while FRED likes to try and steal the show with one set of white eyelashes and one set of black, FLOYD does his best to one-up him with TWO sets of white eyelashes (a rarity with these big guys).
COME VISIT US FOR AN UNMATCHED CLYDESDALE EXPERIENCE!

“Thanks for lovin’ Clydesdales.
See you soon at JFP Equine!”
ABOUT JFP EQUINE
JFP Equine was established in 2011 by Jim Poole following a 25-yr career in the management of the Budweiser Clydesdales. Prior to Budweiser, Poole worked with, and actively managed, several top-quality draft horse hitches in competition throughout Canada and the U.S.
Tucked along the outskirts of Waterloo, IL (just outside St. Louis, MO), JFP Equine's headquarters is a small but MIGHTY working farm home to best-of-breed Clydesdales (and occasionally other breeds of draft horse).
*IMPORTANT: The Activity is potentially dangerous for reasons that include but are not limited to the propensity of an equine to behave in dangerous ways that may result in injury to the participant; the inability to predict an equine’s reaction to sound, movements, objects, persons, or animals; and the hazards of surface or subsurface conditions.
